Same sex wedding takes off in New Zealand today

Rachel and Jess
Dear Jossyinfo. blog readers ,as a follow up to the information posted on this blog on Sunday, 18th August, 2013 (First gay wedding in New Zealand), same-sex wedding officially takes off today as some couples were joined together in marriage.
In April, 2013 New Zealand's parliament voted to legalize same-sex marriage, making it the first country in the Asia Pacific region to do so.
A double wedding was held Monday at the Rotorua Museum in the city of the same name.
About 90 invited guests and members of a radio station crew that put on a competition for the all-expenses-paid wedding were on hand as Rachel Briscoe and Jess Ivess and Richard Rawstorn and Richard Andrew exchanged vows.

Other weddings conducted were
between the Australians Paul McCarthy and Trent Kandler in Wellington and Natasha Vitali and Melissa Ray in Auckland Unitarian church.

Including New Zealand, 14 countries now allow same-sex marriage. Of which, nine are in Europe.
The Netherlands was the first, in 2001, and it was later joined by Belgium, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Portugal, Denmark and France. Argentina, Uruguay, Canada and South Africa are the non-European countries in the group.
Same-sex marriage is also legal in some parts of Brazil, Mexico and the United States.

What is your opinion about same-sex marriage? Is it actually justifiable?

  1. The coming of the Lord is at hand. Are these not the signs of the end time?
