A mammoth crowd thronged the the headquarters of the World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry
(WOSEM), situated at Illeki, in Ilesa, Osun State where the remains of
the renowned evangelist was laid to rest in a mausoleum on Saturday, 17th August, 2013 in a golden casket.
Present at the occasion are the Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola with the members of his executive councils and members of Christ Apostolic Church worldwide.
Governor Aregbesola in his statement said “Some people questioned our government’s financial support to Obadare’s funeral and my response is that we cannot fold our arms, considering his contributions to religious development, peace and harmony.”
This is somebody whose miraculous exploits had put Osun in global map such that his evangelistic activities were acknowledged throughout the world”.
Prophet Obadare died on 13th of March, 2013.
May his soul rest in peace till we meet in heaven.
